Discover the Centre

The Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in 2D Materials of Tomorrow (2DMoT) is a four-year PhD programme that provides students with the knowledge and skills for cutting edge, cross-disciplinary research in the science and applications of two-dimensional materials - a new class of advanced materials with potential to transform modern technologies, from clean energy to quantum engineering.

The CDT is led by The University of Manchester and is a partnership with the University of Cambridge. Every year a minimum of 8 fully-funded PhD places will be available at Manchester and a minimum of 2 places at Cambridge.
